BU was established initially to handle registrations, transfers and promotion of Beefmaster cattle in 1961.
Through the years, the reputation of BBU's integrity throughout the cattle industry has become well known.
BBU's progressive and aggressive breed enhancement programs have been utilized to strengthen the breeding of quality cattle based on six economic traits. Today, BBU and Beefmasters are celebrated as one of the premier breeds and organizations in the U.S.
